MRCTV's Fast Take: Donald Trump, War on Christmas, and One Hungry Gator

Tim Dionisopoulos | December 11, 2015

Big Story:

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump dominated this week's headlines after releasing a statement on Monday calling for a halt immigration of Muslim immigration into the USA.

Trump's plan was condemned by Speaker Paul Ryan, but seemingly won the endorsement of Dutch political leader and Islam critic Geert Wilders.

Hot: War on Christmas

The War on Christmas claims it's first casualty. A councilwoman resigned because her town renamed the "Holiday Tree" a "Christmas Tree." Sounds like someone needs to lighten up.

Cold: Josh Earnest

According to the White House spokesman, any politician who supports Trump is also disqualified from being president. No matter your opinion on Trump's plan, we're fairly sure the White House doesn't get to call those shots.

Strange: Florida Gators, and 'Transage'

A burglar met a grisly death after getting eaten by an alligator while hiding in a lake. Needless to say, this happened in Florida.

In other news a middle aged man, who formerly had a wife and children, now identifies as transgender and transage. He is currently living as a six-year-old girl.

Key Stat: 27%

That's the number of Democrats that have a favorable view of Islam.
