MSNBC guest Christina Greer aired her grief during a panel discussion on Tuesday that disgraced, former Congressman Anthony Weiner would not be able to play Donald Trump in Hillary Clinton’s debate prep.

“She really needs someone on her team,” said Greer, an associate professor of Political Science at Fordham University. “I thought it was going to be Anthony Weiner … who would be a perfect sparring partner who would bring this element of surprise.”

The other panelists chimed in, saying, “That’s what I thought, too!” and, “Yeah, that’d be perfect.”

“When we’re talking about ISIS, all of a sudden, he’ll bring up Monica Lewinski or something completely random and left-field and very third-grade elementary,” Greer explained.

His behavior as a public figure, husband and father certainly comes out of left-field.

Weiner, husband of Hillary Clinton’s top aide Huma Abedin, now finds himself in the midst of another sexting scandal.

After news broke of Weiner yet again exchanging lewd photos and messages with a woman on social media, Abedin announced on Monday that she and her husband are separating.

Weiner’s online indiscretions ruined his career as a U.S. Representative for New York’s 9th congressional district and his 2013 mayoral campaign.

Now, his antics may have claimed his marriage.
