On MSNBC Tuesday, the network noted that the stock market plunge on Monday didn’t happen while Janet Yellen was Federal Reserve Chairwoman, but after Jerome Powell was sworn in as chair on Monday morning.
While discussing investor concern over the possibility of an increase in interest rates by the Federal Reserve, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle said, “You know, I like to tout a lot of girl power here. I’m just going to say we didn’t see this when Janet Yellen was in that seat."
