While it remains unclear exactly where Tesla CEO Elon Musk sits on the political spectrum, he will occasionally say something that gives at least a hint as to where he stands.
Speaking with “The All-In Podcast” on Monday, one of the hosts asked for Musk’s thoughts on the false premise that both former President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden are the same on immigration in the sense that neither want to let in the “greatest minds, the most talented people into this country.”
I don’t know if the dude in the blue children’s suit is aware, but the U.S. southern border isn’t exactly turning people away. As a matter of fact, President Biden seems to pretend that we don’t even have a southern border anymore.
Anyway, after Musk answered that anyone from anywhere that comes into this country and works hard can make it, another co-host of the podcast asked Musk what he thinks about the “similarities” between Trump and Biden on immigration.
“Have you been disappointed in the similarities between Biden and Trump on this?” the co-host asked. “Like, maybe you could’ve expected it from Trump, because that was the rhetoric he needed to use to get elected. But, it’s not as if Biden has flipped the script and said, ‘Okay, we’re going to 180 degrees in the other direction. He’s kinda kept it the same, which has been really surprising, actually.”
Musk’s response was classic trolling.
“Man, it’s hard to tell what Biden’s doing to be totally frank,” Musk responded. “The real president is whoever controls the teleprompter. It’s like, the path to power is the path to the teleprompter, cause we use the teleprompter. So, you know, I do feel like if somebody were to accidentally lean on the teleprompter, it’s going to be like “Anchorman.” It’s going to be like, ‘QQQASDF123,’ you know, type of thing.”
So basically, the wealthiest man on the planet thinks Beijing Biden is a puppet for whoever writes the words he’s allowed to say on a daily basis.
