National School Boards Association Freefalls After Labeling Parents 'Terrorists'

After playing its part with the Biden administration late last year to frame the prefabricated narrative that concerned parents, pro-federalists, and anti-authoritarians who appear at school board meetings are potential “domestic terror threats,” the now infamous National School Boards Association (NSBA) appears to be near total implosion, as more than a dozen state affiliates have abandoned ship.

Richard Moorhead reports for Big League Politics:

The NSBA was responsible for sending a letter to the Department of Justice warning of supposed ‘domestic terrorist’ plots on the part of parents who oppose CRT in schools and mask mandates at the behest of the Biden administration.

He adds:

Nineteen state affiliates of the NSBA have since left the organization, undermining any pretense it could claim to a nonpartisan and apolitical approach to education policy. The newly installed executive director of the NSBA cites the need to ‘rebuild trust’ in the organization, with the parents it’s obligated to serve having soured considerably on the integrity of public schools in the wake of the political scandal.

Indeed, the NSBA pawns of the Biden administration appear to have miscalculated. And no matter what they claim to the contrary, the connections seem evident, and the state affiliates are feeling the heat.

As I reported in October, when news of the “NSBA Letter” to Attorney General Merrick Garland surfaced, the NSBA action appeared to be a prefab construct birthed from political connections in order to provide Garland with a pretext to sick federal, tax-paid agents on any non-conformist he or others in the Biden Gang desire.

Later in the month, after the “Justice” Department had used the smokescreen of the NSBA “letter” to send its own “memo” to the FBI to “address” the issue of these “domestic terror threats,” the NSBA backed off, and tried to claim innocence about labeling peaceful taxpayers as potential threats.

Given the revelations that the NSBA and members of the Biden Administration were in contact prior to the NSBA letter, and appear to have worked in consort, few Americans are buying this canard.

Indeed, as Callie Pateson reported for the NY Post on January 11:

A newly released email indicates Education Secretary Miguel Cardona solicited last September’s letter from the National School Boards Association which compared parents protesting at school board meetings to domestic terrorists.

But, despite the revelations of their methods, the Bidenistas are marching forward, undaunted, unembarrassed, unhindered by scruples or ethics. It seems as interesting timing that, virtually the same moment Pateson’s article appeared, the Biden “Justice Department” announced that it was forming an entirely new division to “fight” the made-up scourge of rightist, anti-authoritarian “domestic terrorism.”

Because, as we all know, the overblown “danger” of the January 6 trespassers into the Capitol represent a giant threat to property and lives across the U.S., while vast, actual property destruction, rioting, mass looting, murder, and intimidation by members of Black Lives Matter and AntiFa between 2017 and 2022 are not only not important and not criminal in nature, they are, as CNN’s Omar Jimenez said while standing before a blazing-by-arson city block in Kenosha, WI, circa August, 2020, “mostly peaceful protests.”

And so we see the top-down narrative, the witches and warlocks of the Big Government-Big-Tech-Big-Media Cult reciting their demonizing mantra, and, as MRCTV’s Nick Kangadis noted last week:

As if having the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Security Agency (NSA) and many other ‘intelligence’ agencies weren’t enough, now the Biden regime is creating another one — and if you have negative opinions about the federal government, this applies to you.

Of course, Biden had plenty of practice demonizing innocent people when he was vice president and he and Barack Obama attempted to silence reporters by using the unconstitutional “Espionage Act” against more journalists and whistleblowers than all other presidents combined since its passage in 1917.

But the folks closer to the local populations, the folks who have felt the heat at their admittedly left-leaning school board meetings?

Notes The Washington Post, even as the paper blames “right wing” attacks for the collapse of the NSBA:

Nineteen mostly GOP-led states have withdrawn from the association or promised to when this year’s membership expires, and six members of what was a 19-person board have left. Several states are discussing forming an alternative association for school boards.

They’re backing off.

Perhaps that’s an object lesson in the importance of decentralization – something the Bidenistas – including many at the Washington Post -- utterly despise.

We might not be able to stop the Justice Department from targeting us, but we can learn the key lesson about concentrated power, and pass on that lesson, as we help our kids escape the corrupt and useless, federally-tied, public school system.
