Yet another loudmouth heard from.

San Antonio Spurs coach and resident know-it-all Gregg Popovich thinks that because his basketball teams have won five NBA titles, he is qualified to determine the level of racism in the United States.

Popovich is more than entitled to his opinion, but everyone else is also more than entitled to respond.

First of all, the whole thing began with a stupid question from a stupid reporter that shall remain nameless. The reporter asked Popovich “why it’s important for the league [NBA] to celebrate black history month.

Really? That’s your question? Come on, bro.

Popovich’s response to the question was alright until he had to point out that the U.S. is a “racist country.”

Here's video of Popovich's response:

"I think it's pretty obvious. Our league is made up of a lot of black guys," Popovich said. "To honor that and understand it is pretty simplistic. How would you ignore that? More importantly, we live in a racist country that hasn't figured it out yet."

Maybe the country is still perceived as racist because of race hustlers who profit off of racial division. Maybe the country is still perceived as racist because of people like Popovich who have profited off the backs of his predominantly black players.

Don’t worry. The players themselves aren’t in the poor house.

The NBA absolutely doesn't have a race problem. If the U.S. was so racist, then why do black people comprise 74.3 percent of all players, while the total percentage of "people of color" in the NBA is 81.7 percent, according the Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport (TIDES). That number is pretty indicative of the lack of racism considering that black people only make up 13.3 percent of the U.S. population, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Maybe the U.S. is still perceived as racist because it’s one of the Left’s rallying cries. Any time anyone of color doesn’t succeed in life, it’s because of systematic racism, and not because the person failed in whatever endeavor they were involved in.

This person didn’t succeed, so it’s the job of the government to help them out. Just based on that sentence, it’s racist to think that someone can’t pull themselves out of the situation they’re in, because the government thinks they know how to better someone that can’t help themselves.

Maybe, just maybe, the biggest racists are the ones that always cry racism.
