Well, what do we have here? We might possibly have another case of ‘liar, liar, pants on fire’ involving those within President Joe Biden’s regime. The regime, all the way up to the White House, claimed ignorance concerning the raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida on August 8.

New revelations are putting those claims in serious doubt, according to “contemporaneous government documents reviewed by Just the News.”

Apparently, the Biden White House worked in concert with Attorney General Merrick Garland’s Justice Department (DOJ), as well as the National Archives, as far back as May to essentially set Trump up to make it look like he illegally was holding classified government documents.

Just the News reported:

The memos show then-White House Deputy Counsel Jonathan Su was engaged in conversations with the FBI, DOJ and National Archives as early as April, shortly after 15 boxes of classified and other materials were voluntarily returned to the federal historical agency from Trump's Florida home.

By May, Su conveyed to the Archives that President Joe Biden would not object to waiving his predecessor's claims to executive privilege, a decision that opened the door for DOJ to get a grand jury to issue a subpoena compelling Trump to turn over any remaining materials he possessed from his presidency.

The key to the whole alleged operation to discredit Trump hinged on Biden “waving” Trump’s executive privilege to any classified documents he might have claimed while in office or possessed to the day.

Waving Trump’s executive privilege could reveal the former president’s classified conversations with advisers that the president wished to keep private.

Both former presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush invoked executive privilege for different reasons, as ironically reported by CNN last October.

It's an odd twist in a debate that's touched every single president, including Republicans and Democrats.

Unfortunately and ultimately, the decision on Trump’s executive privilege lies with Biden, who some have accused of doing whatever he can to prevent the former president from running again in 2024.

It’ll be interesting to see if anything comes from these revelations that the Biden regime was in on the moves against Trump the whole way.
