The trend of political message painted on city streets across the country may have possibly reached its zenith. Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and far-left New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio have done many authoritarian things during this pandemic that have left not only a bad taste in some New Yorkers mouths, but has resulted in crime skyrocketing in the biggest city in the state.

As part of the racial unrest that has been artificially ramped up and has plagued the globe en masse for the past few months, murals depicting the name of the Marxist Black Lives Matter (BLM) organization have been painted on city streets in New York City and Washington D.C., among other cities.

Well, some people have apparently had enough of far-left policies crippling their once great city to the point that the Department of Justice actually designated New York City as an “anarchist jurisdiction.”

New Yorkers in Brooklyn painted the message “F**K CUOMO AND DE BLASIO” in bright yellow letters, much like the BLM murals.

“It was a big hit,” one person who refused to be identified told the New York Post. “The crowds cheered, even the cops chuckled.”

Here’s an image of the mural in question, as seen on Twitter:

Unfortunately, city officials apparently didn’t appreciate the mural and covered it up.

“Bucking widely held notions about municipal inefficiency, workers from the city Department of Transportation descended on the display less than 24 hours later — around 10 p.m. Saturday — to cover up the message with black, according to the attendee,” the Post reported.

Whatever the case may be, it’s pretty funny that New Yorkers — the same people who elected Cuomo and de Blasio — now have such a high opinion of the pair.
