Leftists are going after NFL star Brian Urlacher for having an opinion other than theirs after the former Chicago Bears linebacker “liked” a post in support of Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who was arrested for homicide after shooting two rioters who were attacking him in the streets of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Urlacher also shared a post on Instagram criticizing the Milwaukee Bucks for refusing to take the court Wednesday to bring attention to the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old armed felon with an outstanding warrant and a violent criminal history who resisted arrest. Urlacher pointed out that fellow NFL Hall-of-Famer Brett Favre played a game immediately following his own father’s death, while NBA players refused to play a game after a wanted criminal was shot by police while resisting arrest – an opinion he’s apparently now allowed to have, according to Atlantic senior writer Mark Lazerus.

But perhaps it’s not such a surprise that any opinion breaking from the left’s narrative are immediately cast as “racist” and “ignorant,” especially considering the media’s diehard attempt to skew the story of Rittenhouse to cover the fact that he was being attacked at the moment he opened fire on rioters, at least one of whom had a gun.
