Podcast host Tim Pool usually communicates on a pretty even keel. Sure, there are times when he might get upset at certain things happening in the political realm. But, his outrage is typically limited to a sentence conveying that what he’s talking about is wrong.

However, on Monday evening’s episode of “Timcast IRL,” Pool called out the DEI hires in the Los Angeles Fire Department and those on the progressive left that go along with that brand of lunacy.

Pool brought up the story of former Australian child star Rory Sykes, who had cerebral palsy and was blind. The story is tragic, as is the entire Southern California fires ordeal.

Sykes’ mother, who has a broken arm, was trying to get her 32-year-old son out of his home as the fire began to engulf it. But because of her ailment, she was unable to do so and is now in mourning as Rory died on last Wednesday.

After that, Pool then played the now-infamous video of the DEI higher-up who said in a video that it’s basically more important for people to see someone like them respond to a fire than the fireperson be able to rescue people from a fire.

“‘Is she strong enough to do this?’ Or, ‘You couldn’t carry my husband out of a fire.’” the DEI appointee said. “Which my response is, ‘he got himself in the wrong place if I have to carry him out of a fire.’”

As someone who was very nearly a fireman, I can tell you that I didn’t want to do it because I wanted another Greek person to feel comfortable if their house was ever on fire and I showed up. I wanted to do it to help people, to SAVE people, from fire if necessary.

Well, Pool went on a bit of a rager after reading the article about Sykes and then showing the video of the DEI hire. And he was righteous in doing so.

“Rory Sykes did not get himself in the wrong place, you psychopathic monster! The requirement for the fire department is to be able to lift those who cannot lift themselves, to save them from burning buildings. It’s no one’s fault. I don’t care if you dropped a cigarette and your house started on fire. I don’t care if you put a teddy bear next to a bunch of candles and your house started on fire. ‘We will save you.’ And in this instance, a man with cerebral palsy who was blind and whose mother desperately tried to carry him out of a building, she was terrified, would burn down, was unable to do so, but ‘he got himself in the wrong place!’ These are the people they hire. They are disgusting monsters that would leave you to burn to death so long as they get a salary to push their crackpot religion. That’s why I despise these people.”

For more context, Pool began the segment by saying that people call him biased, so he decided to explain why he despises “the Democratic Party, progressives, wokeness, etc.”
