I don’t care how much disgraced former CNN host Chris Cuomo tries to rehab his image. I don’t care if Tucker Carlson respects him for sticking up for his brother, disgraced former New York governor and “alleged” nursing home killer Andrew Cuomo. For a skyrocketing podcast, like the Patrick Bet-David’s “PBD Podcast” to add a cancer to its ranks devalues Bet-David’s Valuetainment brand.
That’s right. Popular podcaster and owner of Valuetainment Media Patrick Bet-David announced on Wednesday that Chris Cuomo “will be joining our media team as a talent partner.”

Cuomo has been making the rounds recently, doing an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and debating The Daily Wire’s Candace Owens on Bet-David’s program.
As someone who regularly watches episodes and clips of the “PBD Podcast,” I understand what Bet-David is going for here. He wants to platform voices from all walks of life, and I can respect that. However, for someone who has the track record and the nefarious connections that Cuomo does can only the hurt the Valuetainment brand.

Honestly, this lowers my perception of the Bet-David brand. And it appears I’m not the only one.
Users on X have conveyed their disagreement with the move to add Cuomo as well:
Of course, only time will tell whether this move was ultimately a good one for business or a bad one. I’m leaning towards the latter, but who knows?
