Well, that didn’t last long.

Remember that floating pier in Gaza that President Joe Biden’s regime ordered to be built by the U.S. military so that supplies could be transported into the region? How could you forget? It was only built two weeks ago.

Fast forward those two weeks and the $320 million monstrosity is already in need of repair to the point that the pier will now be “towed to the southern Israeli city of Ashdod for repairs which could take ‘at least over a week,’” according to the Daily Mail.

The pier was reportedly built in order to alieve “reports of mass suffering and starvation in Gaza.”

One would think that spending $320 million on a pier, even a floating one, would entail that it would be durable enough to last more than two weeks before it needed repairs. But, with most modern iterations of things these days, ‘they don’t build ‘em like they used to.’

Biden’s Pentagon claims that “rough seas” are to blame for the issues with the pier. Although, that probably should’ve been taken into account, especially when building something that literally resides in the sea.

$320,000,000, folks. I understand that they had the U.S. military build this thing. But, to spend that much money and the pier already needing repairs, you might ask the question, ‘Is DEI plaguing the military now, too?’

Just for context, here’s the explanation of having to remove the pier and take it somewhere else to repair it by Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh:

“Think of that Trident pier as having like a large tee. That top part of the tee disconnected, so that has been recovered. But in order to reassemble everything it's going to detach from the coastline, move up to Ashdod to be reassembled and then reattached - re-anchored back.”

Sounds about…
