Some people just don’t understand how and why they’re losing their authoritarian grip on the American public when it comes to the news. The establishment propaganda media have so sullied any morsel of credibility they might once have had, and they’re so delusional not only in the power they think they have but that fewer and fewer people are buying the propaganda they sell anymore, that their self-awareness is at a level that they don’t even get that a change, of course, is sorely needed in their profession.

Take the founder of Axios James VandeHei, for example. He doesn’t have journalistic credits to his name, so he’s not just some big wig with no experience in the news game.

Previously, VandeHei was the executive editor and founder of Politico, as well as a national correspondent at The Washington Post. And while those outlets, as well as Axios, occasionally lets actual news information leak from their publications, they aren’t the most unbiased bastions of journalism.

Well, during his acceptance speech for a lifetime achievement award at the National Press Club recently, VandeHei threw a tantrum because Tesla founder and X CEO Elon Musk posted to X “You are the media now” to his millions of followers.

VandeHei took exception to that, because — I don’t know — he thinks regular folks are too stupid to think for themselves?

“My message to Elon Musk is, ‘Bulls**t! You’re not the media!’” VandeHei said to applause from the establishment sheeple. “You having a blue checkmark, a Twitter handle and 300 words of cleverness doesn’t make you a reporter. You don’t do that by popping off on Twitter. You don’t do that by having an opinion. You do it by doing the hard work.”

If that’s the case, why don’t all these establishment “reporters” do the “hard work” and check their sources by checking with the subject(s) of the claims whenever they’re “reporting” on anyone, anything or any concept to the right of Karl Marx? Oh, that’s right. It’s because they want to be “first” or have the most salacious headline, all while using sources like ‘multiple people familiar with [insert here’s] thinking.’

And just look in the video above how proud the bumbling idiots on “Morning Joe” are of VandeHei’s ignorance. Par for the course, I suppose.

You’re not reporters. You’ve all gotten to the point where you’re journalists like those at The National Enquirer are “journalists.”

Much like celebrities, these “newspeople” need to get over themselves.

To quote pro wrestler John Cena’s theme song, “Your time is up. [Our] time is now.”
