Say what you want about the band Creed. You can say they’re a pseudo-Christian ripoff of Pearl Jam. You can say they’re almost as reviled as the Canadian band Nickelback. And, you could bring up the past transgressions of lead singer Scott Stapp. But, every now and then, even a blind squirrel finds a nut.
During a recent Creed concert, Stapp addressed the crowd with clarity-filled, based rant. The only strange thing about his words was the “rock star” poses he made while making his statement.
However, despite past criticisms of Stapp, that doesn’t take away from the substance of what he said to the audience.
“And that’s my opinion, that that’s exactly what the powers-that-be, that’s what they want. They want us divided. They want us separate. They want us compartmentalized in our own little niches and our own little groups, thinking ‘we’re right, they’re wrong’ and bickering. You know why? To keep us distracted from holding them accountable.”
I don’t want to give away too much of what he said, because his words need to be listened to carefully. But, I will give you one more quote that was also used in the X post of the video.

“We start reminding them of what our Constitution says,” Stapp said. “We start reminding them what our Bill Of Rights says. We remind them that we are a Constitutional Republic built upon the Bible and the word of God and NOT a democracy.”
