If you’ve followed my work over the years, you know that I can’t stand leftist activists. Leftist activist professors are on another level, because they can ruin a student’s academic career simply for not thinking the same way they do. And leftist professors who teach the law might be the biggest hypocrites on the planet when you take into account that most learn the law so they know how to get around it for their ideological benefit.

Well, Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) doesn’t care one bit about any of that. He only cares if the person he’s talking to is a complete nutjob who, in reality, is barely qualified to tie their own shoes.

That’s why it was more than satisfying to see Kennedy dismantle a smug leftist law professor at George Washington University Law School, Dr. Mary Anne Franks.

Kennedy was attempting to prove that Franks’ activist beliefs influence her thinking when it comes to the law. He did so by repeating past tweets, or X posts, along with articles she had previously written that clearly explained her personal positions on different topics, particularly her words against the First and Second Amendments, along with her anti-white male stances.

The senator from Louisiana brought up many instances of these beliefs during a Senate hearing on censorship, to which Franks could only respond puzzled as to what relevance Kennedy’s points about said beliefs had to do with the hearing.

As you’ll see below, Franks was more than smug, almost prideful when Kennedy read some of her radical stances.

“Can you expect us, as a Democratic witness, to take you seriously?!” Kennedy said, almost befuddled at Franks’ hubris. “Are you kidding me?!”

“You’ve heard of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm?” Kennedy said as his time expired. “Here’s my saying, ‘Curb My Nausea.’”

I could pile onto what Kennedy said in response to Franks’ egomaniacal defiance, but the above quote pretty much says it all.
