If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times; sometimes you just need to laugh. And, if you have the capability to laugh and love, all is not lost no matter how desperate times seems to get.
That said, let’s get a quick laugh in at the expense of the poor pets of Ohio.
A semi-viral video has been circulating on X in the past week of a certain phrase that’s been remixed over and over into song form, “they’re eating the cats, they’re eating the dogs.”
I know. I know. It’s funny just mentioning it until you realize there’s at least a kernel of truth to those phrases.
Of course, the eating of cats and dogs became a worldwide meme after former President Donald Trump brought up the issue, “allegedly” happening in Springfield, Ohio and carried out by Haitian criminal invaders, during his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.

A mother turned on the camera on her phone because she overheard her child repeating one of the remixes of the phrases and wanted to know where they heard it.
“Did you hear that on the TV or on Mommy’s phone?” the mother asked her child. “Where did you hear that? Did you hear it on my phone?”
“Yes, I did,” the three-year-old responded.
