The more we learn about the things Dr. Anthony Fauci has apparently done in his career, the more polarizing a figure he becomes. From the controversy surrounding his involvement during the AIDS epidemic to the constant misdirection he gave during the COVID pandemic to the alleged abuse of animals by research labs he approved funding for, Fauci seems to have no depths to his “following of the science.”
Late last week, while very few were paying attention, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) questioned Justin Goodman, senior vice president at the White Coat Waste Project, an organization dedicated to looking into research done using taxpayer money involving animals, during a House Oversight Committee hearing.
Boebert asked Goodman about multiple things, including the use of implanted aborted baby parts into “lab animals,” and what Goodman had to say about the research and Fauci might make your blood boil.
First, here's what Goodman had to say about Fauci:
“So, Dr. Fauci ran NIAID [National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases] from 1984 to 2022, and when he left at the end of 2022 it had a $6.5 billion budget. Again, we don’t know what percentage of that was for animal testing, but probably than the average across NIH [National Institutes of Health]. And I just want to make a note here that Dr. Fauci, and I don’t have any issue with him outside of his abuse of animals. He was not just a paper pusher. He was personally involved in animal experimentation, experimenting on monkeys, giving them HIV-like viruses until the day he left NIH. He was the lead investigator on grants that were funded by taxpayers to do that. And he started his career by infecting chimpanzees with HIV and promising we were going to have an AIDS vaccine back in the 80s, which we never got, because, as you mentioned, they don’t get HIV, they don’t get AIDS, they don’t get sick.
So this has been an enormous amount of waste and abuse, and his legacy — unfortunately — he’s gone from government, but his legacy at NIAID lives on.”

If that weren’t enough to make you throw out your Fauci prayers candles — and yes, they exist as evidenced by a video where Fauci had said candles on his home shelves — what Goodman had to say in response to Boebert query on Fauci’s funding of using “human fetal tissue” — or aborted baby parts as Boebert said in her question — during animal testing.
“We’ve also sent billions of dollars to unaccountable labs in China and other foreign countries [to] implant aborted baby parts into animals,” Boebert said before asking her question. “Have you heard of that sort of research?”
“Yeah, we did an analysis a few years ago showing that over 90 percent of experiments using human fetal tissue involved animals were funded by Fauci’s NIAID,” Goodman responded.
“Do you know where they’re getting the aborted human fetal tissue?” Boebert asked, following up.
“A lot of it is happening at colleges and universities that have affiliated hospitals that perform that procedure,” Goodman replied.
Sick. Just sick. Fauci will be judged someday, in one way or another.
