You know you’re at the height of mental illness when you accuse others of thinking they’re gangsters while you made a career out of pretending to be a gangster.
Fake tough guy Robert De Niro was interviewed by CNN’s Chris Wallace for his “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace” series on the Max streaming service, and, in case there was any doubt, the octogenarian cemented his hatred for former President Donald Trump.
De Niro told Wallace that he believes Trump will “never give up power” if elected in November and that the former president “thinks he’s a gangster.”
De Niro said that following about Trump without giving any examples of what he means by saying Trump “thinks he’s a gangster.”
“He does everything like a gangster. I don’t think that gangsters in that world would want — think much of him, because you in any… there’s honor among thieves. There’s honor in anything. If you don’t keep your word and do the right thing with people, no matter what profession you’re in, you are going to get ostracized. And in that world, it’s a little harder.”
Wallace actually followed up by pressing De Niro on what he means by saying Trump “thinks he’s a gangster,” and again, De Niro gave no specifics because he’s not bright enough to do so.

That’s called making a deal. Gangsters take by intimidation.
At this point in his career, De Niro has tarnished his legacy by being thoroughly unlikeable. It’s fine to criticize a politician if you have legitimate points at to why you don’t approve of them. But I can’t remember a single time when fake tough guy De Niro brought up any specifics as to why he hates Trump.
It’d be more respectable if De Niro could elaborate on his hatred, but he has proven to be incapable of doing so. And you’d think for a guy whose profession is pretending to be someone he’s not, he’d at least be able to make some up on the fly for a critique.
De Niro is another example of someone who talks tough without any level of being threatening attached to it. Sorry, regardless of what he thinks of Trump, I just don’t like the guy. He’s a fraud who has done everything in his power to put a blemish on an otherwise stellar acting career.
