These Marxists, socialists and straight up communists that run sanctuary cities and states seem to be growing in their outrage at the strain the illegal immigrants — that they asked for — are putting on their areas. What’s the old saying? Be careful what you ask for.
Far-left Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson joined the efforts of New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Denver Mayor Mike Johnston in stressing that all of their sanctuary city’s services are at their breaking points.
“The public good is already stressed,” Johnson said. “Whether it’s our transportation system, our healthcare system, our education system, you know, all of these systems are already stretched to meet the demands of families who have been here. Over the past seven months, it’s been an incredible, and incredible strain on every aspect of city services.”

So you’re complaining about the people you declared were more than welcome in your city for years, that you also would not report to ICE because they’re lawbreakers, all so you could signal your fake virtue to the entire country? Tough. Live with it. This is what you voted for Chicago — morons like Johnson and former Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
Isn’t it funny how the left stops being compassionate when you actually confront them with what they say they want? And then they have the temerity to ask for federal assistance, because they don’t know how to handle money and perhaps even misappropriated funds to the point they can’t dig out of the hole they dug themselves.
