Let me just preface by saying the video that’s the subject of this blog is satire. It’s NOT really New York City Mayor Eric Adams speaking. A comedian did an AI press conference of Adams in light of his indictment on federal charges of corruption on Wednesday.

Stand-up comedian and podcaster Danny Polishchuk posted a satire video to X early Thursday morning of a defiant AI version of Adams pushing back against the charges he currently faces. The “fake” Adams brings up the border crisis that’s plagued his city, the assassination attempts on former President Donald Trump, shouts out Diddy, claims he’s “not suicidal” and even calls out socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).

“It is now my belief that the federal government intends to charge me with crimes,” the AI Adams said. “At first, when they wanted to empty every third world s**thole into this city, I complied. But after it was clear we didn’t need any more Uber Eats delivery drivers, I started to fight back.”

That’s just a little taste of the pretty decent one-liners in the comedic video. But, I teased an AOC line, so here ya go.

“And if AOC is watching this, I just want you to know you can eat my whole a**,” “fake” Adams concluded.

As Larry the Cable Guy would say, “I don’t care who you are, that’s funny right there.”

Happy Friday!
