Will he? Won’t he? It’s not the end of the world if it doesn’t happen, but Tesla founder and X CEO Elon Musk certainly thinks it will. What am I talking about? I’m talking about the possibility of podcaster Joe Rogan interviewing former President Donald Trump.

In response to an account X sharing a Zero Hedge article about how “Joe Rogan Has 25 Days To Interview Donald Trump,” Musk simply said three little words, “It will happen.”

Rogan has softened over time to the idea of interviewing Trump. He told fellow podcaster Lex Fridman in 2022 that he didn’t want to help Trump by having him on his show, which he said he’s had a couple opportunities to do so and said no to the idea.

A year later, Rogan told Valuetainment founder Patrick Bet-David on his “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast that he might be open to interviewing Trump, because he thinks it’d be interesting to hear his perspectives on things. He even knows what he would want to ask Trump.

“I would like to know what is it actually like when you get into office?” Rogan told Bet-David in 2023. “I would like to know things like, ‘What is it like versus perception? What is it actually like when you get in that building? Like, what are you greeted with? When do you know that people are f**king with you? When do you know the intelligence agencies are lying to you? When you decided to fire [former FBI Director James] Comey, how much did you know? What’s the machine like? What is the deep state really like?’ Really like?”

Whether it’s Trump or any other former president, those are very interesting questions that I’m sure people would love at least some insight into, in light of not actually being able to get a straight answer.

So? Will it happen like Musk thinks? Or won’t it?
