Update (10/23, 9:46 am): Shortly after this blog was initially published on Tuesday evening, the Joe Rogan Podcast X account, @joeroganhq, posted that former President Donald Trump will be appearing on Friday's episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience." The headline now reflects the update.

Original story: A little over a week ago, former President Donald Trump told the "Bussin' with the Boys" podcast that he would be appearing on "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast with host Joe Rogan. While Trump seemed certain it was going to happen, there was no confirmation from Rogan.
On Tuesday, Politico reported that "a person familiar with the plans who was granted anonymity to discuss the matter" said Trump will sit down with Rogan this Friday at Rogan's studio in Austin, Texas.
There really isn't much more information to go on other than the Politico article with an anonymous source stating the interview is set to take place.

Rogan has said in the past that he wouldn't platform the former president because he didn't want to help him, as said to Lex Fridman in 2022 on Fridman's podcast. But, that stance has reportedly softened over the past couple of years.
Earlier in October, Tesla founder and X CEO Elon Musk said "it will happen" regarding Trump's possible appearance on Rogan's show.
So, it the report is true, keep your eyes and ears peeled this Friday for the possible Trump appearance on the "JRE" podcast.
