On Monday, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) sat down with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow on Monday evening to talk about the executive actions of President Donald Trump and his apparent targeting USAID.
Raskin did his best to whip up an extreme amount of fervor and practically radicalize the left's base into protest and possibly violent action against their ideological and political counterparts.
It was thrilling and exhilarating to see hundreds of people show up on just a couple hours notice that we were going to have a press conference outside of [US]AID today. So there’s tremendous popular fervor here, and that’s giving everybody a lot of confidence and showing that we’re not afraid of these people. They might be attempting a coup against America, but we’re going to stop them, and we’re going to use every means available to us.

As you'll see below, I found it hilarious that Raskin was doing his best to gaslight the American people into a panic that the "extremists" are coming to get them, despite the mandate received from the American people in the 2024 election.
