When every aspect of our society becomes politicized, fear is a tool often used in order to either create conflict for political opposition or keep the populace in a state of fear because it’s easier to control their thinking that way.

On Monday, the Daily Mail buried the lede by publishing an article with the headline, “Top doctor explains frightening way Trump is letting ‘world’s deadliest infections’ into America.” What they’re trying to do is make you think that because of President Donald Trump’s actions in his first week in office, it’s making the U.S. more susceptible to allowing dangerous viruses to enter the country.

What they don’t tell you until the fourth paragraph is who exactly is the “top doctor” making the claims.

It’s none other than the sister of former President Joe Biden’s first White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

Dr. Stephanie Psaki, who was Biden’s Senior Advisor on Human Rights and Gender Equity, is issuing a warning that Trump’s actions as president could “lay the ground for dangerous pathogens to come to America, such as Marburg virus, an Ebola-like illness that” killed “eight of the nine known Marburg patients.”

As reported by Daily Mail:

Dr Psaki continued: 'As I’ve watched the Trump administration announce a series of actions that undermine our ability to detect and respond to biological threats... I wonder: Who is protecting the American people from Marburg right now?’[…]

Dr Psaki said: 'The Marburg outbreak has continued to evolve since the transition last week, but we have little visibility into what is happening.

'Scientific experts across the US government have lost access to many of the tools they would normally use to protect Americans.'

All this fervor over the Marburg virus half a world away, of which they keep pushing the 88 percent mortality rate based on nine cases in Tanzania, they say could affect the U.S. because of Trump’s “first acts as president was to put a 90-day pause on travel, foreign assistance and some external communications at the CDC, FDA , and NIH while the new administration prepares to overhaul the agencies.”

Psaki, who by all accounts is basically a doctor of DEI hired for her position seemingly based on nepotism, is of the belief that Trump’s move away from the World Health Organization (WHO) could be a contributing factor in a possible spread of some virus at some point in the future, but they can’t say for sure.

Sounds like raising an alarm bell in order to hamstring political opposition, or at least to make it seem like the current administration’s moves are detrimental to the health of Americans.
