As people who base how they think and act on common sense, reason and logic, when we “boycott” a company for “woke” policies or positions we don’t agree with, we’re not saying that company should cease to exist. We’re just saying that we’re not going to contribute our hard earned dollars to people that are diametrically opposed to the things we believe in while shaming us for not thinking like them.
“That’s not cancel culture, it’s capitalism.”
That quote came from an X post on Thursday by filmmaker and political commentator Robby Starbuck in which he called out automaker Toyota for their “woke” policies and practices, both in list and video form.
“@Toyota has been one the most trusted brands in America but they’ve gone totally woke,” Starbuck wrote in the post.
He then goes on to list what they found out about Toyota and the “causes” they contribute money to through sponsorships and announcements of public support, in particular the work they’ve done with the left-leaning, right-hating Human Rights Campaign (HRC).
“Toyota funded the @HRC’s Time To Thrive Summit where they worked with the largest teachers union to push gender ideology into elementary schools,” Starbuck listed among other problematic points.

Here’s some of what we found:
• Toyota sponsored a drag queen program at a summer camp for kids identifying as LGBTQ+.
• Toyota opposes laws that ban sex… pic.twitter.com/bmcWPftjT4
From the looks of the report, Toyota is an ardent supporter of DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) and LGBTQ+ causes and stances.
“A total commitment to DEI policies,” Starbuck also listed. “100/100 CEI score [Corporate Equality Index] from the HRC for 16 straight years which means that they pay for not only employee transitions but for children of employee’s to transition in states where it’s legal.”
Those are just a couple of the insane stances that Toyota supports and endorses. For the rest of the list and a video report by Starbuck, view the X post above.
