Listen up, He-Shes or She-Hes or They/Thems or whatever other incorrect pronouns you’ve been using. Your time of ideologically terrorizing people for not kowtowing to your every whim…is over. There will be no more placation for your delusions. And though I might sound harsh here, I genuinely hope you get the mental help you need to figure out whatever you’re going through.

In saying that, it appears that according to a Pentagon memo filed in court on Wednesday, as reported by Reuters, transgender service members will be removed from the military unless they have some exemption — you know, actually meeting standards.

According to the Reuters report:

This month, the Pentagon had said that the U.S. military will no longer allow transgender individuals to join and will stop performing or facilitating procedures associated with gender transition for service members.

Wednesday's late-evening memo expands the ban to currently serving members of the military.

The memo said that the Pentagon must create a procedure to identify troops who are transgender within 30 days and then within 30 days of that, must start to discharge them from the military.

The memo spoke about how meeting “high standards” is essential to serve for many reasons, including “cohesion,” which can be difficult if someone is not mentally equipped as the other members they’re serving with. It basically breaks the chain of how they’re trained to fight in combat as a group.

As for the exemption, or “waiver,” “troops must also be able to meet a number of criteria, including that the service member 'demonstrates 36 consecutive months of stability in the service member's sex without clinically significant distress.'”

Look, I’m not heartless. I understand that there might actually be trans people who want to serve their country. But people from all walks of life aren’t able to serve their country for a variety of reasons. We don’t always get what we want. That’s life.

I’m also acutely aware that there are “gender confused” people who joined the military because previous administrations made transitioning fully funded for these people, all on the American taxpayers’ dime.
