The city of New York is…well…as former President Donald Trump might say, a “s**thole.” If we’re being honest — and I am, if for no other reason than to tick off New Yorkers like Robert De Niro — New York City has become nothing more than a communist “s**thole.” Just look at the way they treat the bravest people still in that city.

In a memo reported on by The New York Post, those at the top of the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) want to take a pound of flesh (that’s a metaphor for those playing the home game) from firefighters who made their voices heard during a recent promotion ceremony.

Their animus was directed towards New York Attorney General Letitia James while she spoke at the ceremony on March 7, loudly booing at James and chanting “Trump.”

“Oh, come on. We’re in a house of God,” James condescendingly said to the booing audience. “First, simmer down. Thank you for getting it out of your system.”

Watch below:

As for the aforementioned memo, the FDNY told firehouses that the department’s Bureau of Investigations and Trials wanted firefighters who booed or chanted “Trump” to come forward so that they can be “educated [on] why their behavior is unacceptable” and so that they don’t have to resort to “hunt them down.”

The memo noted that the firefighters were out of line, because the event was work-related and that they made political statements at during a “job related ceremony.”

However, it’s the language used in the memo that is troubling to say the least.

“We want members to come forward. They will come to HQ to be educated why their behavior is unacceptable.”

“BITS is investigating this so they will figure out who the members are. I recommend they come forward. I have been told by the Commissioner It will be better for them if they come forward and we don’t have to hunt them down.”

Now, one could say that “hunt them down” is just a figure of speech for going to look for someone. But, keep in mind, this is government — and an authoritarian one at that. Power-hungry politicians, like James, don’t look kindly at any kind of pushback on their blatant Marxist tactics.

Cities, like New York, have already defunded and attacked the jobs of police to the point where many of the good officers have either left the profession or moved to other cities and town. Do they really want to do the same to the bravest still amongst them, the firefighters?
