And I thought I was pretty good at talking smack. But, President-elect Donald Trump takes it to a whole different level, especially when talking to foreign leaders who think they can continue to put one over on the U.S. with him in charge.
In possibly one of the greatest tongue-in-cheek power moves in diplomatic history, there are new reports coming out of the Mar-a-Lago dinner between Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin “Blackface” Trudeau.
Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy reported that “two people who were at the table” told Fox News that Trump had a very special response to Trudeau’s complaints about possible tariffs that the incoming president said he might levy against Canada when he gets in office.
“We are told that when Trudeau told President-elect Trump that new tariffs would k*ll the Canadian economy,” Doocy said, “Trump joked to him that if Canada can't survive without ripping off the US to the tune of $100 billion a year, then maybe Canada should become the 51st state and Trudeau could become its governor.”
NEW: Trump reportedly told Justin Trudeau that if his tariffs destroyed Canada, the country should become the 51st state and Trudeau could be governor.

The crazy part we’ve learned over the years is that in Trump’s bluster and infamous quotes, it always seems like there’s a part of those quotes that Trump means when he says them.
So, Trump might be joking, but he also might be serious. There’s a method to his madness, that if you understand it, you know that he MIGHT mean business…or he might just be joking. That’s the method.
Trudeau followed up on the dinner with an X post, including a picture of the pair and the words, “Thanks for dinner last night, President Trump. I look forward to the work we can do together again.”
