The brain rot in Hollywood knows no bounds. It’s like if you don’t subscribe to their idiotic hivemind, then you’re looked down upon and thought of as someone who lesser than the Bubble People.
We can now add director Chris Columbus to the list of tongue chewers from Tinseltown.
In 1992, the sequel “Home Alone 2” was released after the smash success of its 1990 Christmas classic predecessor, “Home Alone.” Columbus directed both films, but he apparently has a single problem with the second film in the series…
If you’ve seen the sequel and guessed that the cameo of President Donald Trump was the issue Columbus has with the film, give yourself a pat on the back for pointing out the obvious.
“I can’t cut it,” Columbus told the San Francisco Chronicle. “If I cut it, I’ll probably be sent out of the country. I’ll be considered sort of not fit to live in the United States, so I’ll have to go back to Italy.”
First, Columbus is a moron for that take. No one gives a crap enough about him anymore to persecute him for an opinion, albeit idiotic and mentally detached from reality.

Second, go ahead and leave. If he feels that strongly about it, he’s rich. I’m sure a one-way ticket to Italy wouldn’t put him in the hole financially.
Third, because Trump has since become president — twice — the six-second scene has become pretty famous.
Finally, no one from the film complained back in the day when they all loved Trump and what he could do for them. But, because he ran as a Republican — despite in all reality being pretty middle-of-the-road on a lot of things politically — he’s the devil.
And that’s what’s typically revealing about Hollywood people whenever they whine about Trump. They expose themselves for the Marxists they are and the communists they idolized, who got away scot-free back in the day when Congress inquired about the hammer-and-sickle lot in the industry in the 1940s through the 60s.
As one of my favorite political commentators said once upon a time, “McCarthy didn’t go far enough.”
All in all, as I mentioned earlier, it’s a six-second scene. If you’re that triggered by it, maybe you’re the problem.
