Trump and Golfer Bryson DeChambeau Play a Round to Raise Money for Wounded Warrior Project

It honestly doesn’t matter what you think about former President Donald Trump. For all the people who hate him, what are you doing to support our troops and veterans? Probably not much. Granted, Trump probably would’ve gone and played golf anyway, but for him to go out and be filmed all day while playing in order to raise money for charity is a story the establishment media simply refuses to report. Why? Because it humanizes the man, and flies in the face of their Hitler rhetoric.

Top professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau posted an hour long video to YouTube of him playing a round of golf with Trump to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

“It is a tough golf course,” DeChambeau said of the pair’s best ball challenge. “But the more important piece is we’re going to be raising a lot of money for charity today…We’re doing $10,000 for birdies [one under par on a single hole] and $20,000 for eagles [two under par on a single hole].”

For context, the pair shot an impressive 22 under par with 12 birdies and five eagles. If what DeChambeau said is accurate, that means he and Trump raised $220,000 for charity.

The video is highly entertaining, with Trump driving DeChambeau around in his presidential golf cart. At one point in the video, the pro golfer asks Trump what his top five favorite songs are, and Trump proceeds to turn on a playlist with the song “Time To Say Goodbye,” sung by Sarah Brightman.

Surprisingly to this writer, I knew Trump golfed a lot, but I had no idea how good he is. There were some approach shots that were closer to the hole than the ones DeChambeau struck.

As for the point of the video, it provided a description of what the pair were on the links playing for:

Join Bryson DeChambeau and Former President Trump in making a difference by supporting the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) and honoring the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. Together we can help provide much needed support dedicated to empowering wounded veterans, their families, and help our warriors thrive in civilian life.

People can donate by clicking a link next to the video. As of this writing, the video itself has over 4.7 million views in a single day and has raised $22,832 for the charity just on viewer donations.
