As Tim Pool noted in a tweet concerning the following story, “evil exists.” It certainly does, and the two teens, who mowed down a retired police chief in a car killing him back in August, are a prime example of evil incarnate.

While in a Las Vegas courtroom on Tuesday, 18-year-old Jesus Ayala and 16-year-old Jzamir Keys could be seen smirking and laughing with one another as the proceedings went on, “ as reported by the Daily Mail.

Ayala, who was apparently 17 at the time of the crime, and Keys are both being charged as adults, and they’ve pleaded not guilty to “murder, battery and grand larceny” charges even though they recorded themselves committing the crimes they’re accused of.

But that’s not all, Ayala, who was previously heard in a recording after he was initially picked up by police bragging about how he’ll be out of “juvie” in 30 days, could be seen flipping the middle finger at one point, though it’s not exactly clear who he was directing his one-finger salute at.

And in perhaps the most maddening part of their Tuesday court appearance, both defendants were seen almost trying to intimidate the family of the late 64-year-old Andres Probst, their victim, by smiling down at them as they left the room.

In September, Keys’ mother said that her “son’s side of the story will be told, the truth.’” Well, if her son’s actions in court are any indication, Keys’ mother failed at her job of parenting. Maybe she should be charged with raising a monster.

While I’m 100 percent all about innocent until proven guilty, when you record yourselves doing the crime, and then brag about how you’re only going to get a slap on the wrist, both of these animals need to be put away and given the harshest penalty Nevada has to offer.

Even though capital punishment is legal in Nevada, the state hasn’t carried out a death penalty since 2006. They might need to dust off the statute for these piles of trash.
