I know lefties in the U.S. love socialism and communism, hence they wouldn’t recognize a real dictatorship if it slapped them in the face and waved hello. But, Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro — fresh off his recent election “victory” — is just that…a dictator (emphasis on the “dic”).

Apparently, Maduro is none too pleased with X CEO and Tesla Founder Elon Musk, accusing Musk of attempting a coup against his government. Maduro went so far as to say that Musk is his “arch-enemy” and that he can bring his “army” and “satellites” if he wants to fight.

“And who controls virtual network? Our new arch-enemy, the famous Elon Musk,” Maduro said, translated from Spanish. “He’s desperate, and he wants to come with his rockets and an army to invade Venezuela.”

Maduro also claimed that Musk is after much of South America’s lithium, specifically saying the billionaire “controls Argentina” and controls Ecuador. The Venezuelan dictator also said Musk’s actions and possible future desires is a “representation of the fascist ideology in the world, the economic power supporting the fascist ideology of the extreme right.”

He doesn’t sound far off from President Joe Biden’s regime’s talking point concerning anything right of far-left, or even that of leftist activists.

Then again, this is a man who ate an empanada on national television while his people were being starved, so there’s that.

In response, Musk reposted the Maduro video, saying in Spanish, “The donkey knows more than Maduro.”

“Sorry for comparing the poor donkey with Maduro,” Musk added. “It is an insult to the animal world.”
