Is nothing sacred anymore? It certainly seems it’s not when three Kentucky churches co-sponsor LGBTQ events with kids activities and drag shows in for the sake of inclusivity.

This festival is hosted by Capital Pride Kentucky at the Old Capitol Lawn in Frankfort where kids can participate in activities like jewelry making and a scavenger hunt. Normal kid stuff.

But that is not all. The banner posted on the LGBTQ organization’s Facebook page says:

“Drag Shows
Vendor Fair
Kids’ Activities
Entertainment
Food & Beer
Fun for everyone!”

Alcohol, drag shows, kids activities – what could go wrong?

It is unconfirmed whether the children are invited to the drag shows, but pictures on the organization’s website show them nearby and even participating with dollar bills in a previous event this year.

The upcoming festival is sponsored by at least three churches: Bridgeport Christian Church in Frankfort, First Christian Church in Lawrenceburg, and South Frankfort Presbyterian Church.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Bridgeport Christian Church said it “is an open and affirming church where all are welcome. We felt it was important to co-sponsor PRIDE to show our support for God’s LGBTQIA+ children in our community. God loves them, and so do we."

Very sweet message, but how about the literal children who may be exposed to inappropriate sexuality?

South Frankfort Presbyterian Church also gave a statement to Fox News Digital, saying it is a fun event and citing the statement on inclusivity on their website. They added that “some groups need us to show we mean it about inclusivity, and that includes the LGBTQIA+ community, among others. “

Another sweet statement and inclusivity is great, but it should not be the main priority when it comes to the wellbeing of children. There are certain things that kids should not be exposed to and overtly sexual themes are one of them. This used to be obvious to everyone, but in our modern clown world, even churches are partaking.
