Apparently President Obama did not have contact with a half dozen cabinet members during his first 2 years in office, according to John Heilemann of New York Magazine. No phone calls, sit down meetings, nothing. Heilemann makes a great point in saying this shows that not only was he not listening to people outside of the administration, he wasn't listening to people within the administration.
