Zeituni Onyango, President Obama's Aunt, sat down for an exclusive interview with WBZ TV in which she said "If I come as an immigrant, you have the obligation to make me a citizen." Onyango lived in the United States illegally for years, while receiving public assistance in Boston. "I knew I had overstayed", she continued. Onyango first came to the United States in 2000. For two years, she lived in a homeless shelter before receiving public housing despite thousands of legal citizens waiting in line. "I didn't take any advantage of the system. The system took advantage of me", she said.
