NH School Calls Cops On Parents Wearing 'XX' Wristbands To Girls' Soccer Game

After discussing morality and the meanings of right and wrong, perhaps the easiest early lesson one can explore in a political philosophy class is that engaging in aggression is wrong. The next lesson is that all forms of the polis utilize aggression to exist, and that this incessant activity pushes innocent people together, whether they want to be part of the system, or they don’t.

One of the best examples of this tragic compulsion is the public school, the tax-funded school, which sees children of different abilities and with wide-ranging interests put into a system that cannot cater to them, which sees parents become dissatisfied, and which sees virtually all taxpayers – even those without kids – fighting amongst themselves to control the pedagogy of the system.

The results have been disastrous, both in overall educational standards, test scores, and even in utterly bizarre, woke, Marxist programs such as worshipping an Aztec God of human sacrifice in California or eliminating tales by Mark Twain from literature classes.

And now, formerly conservative New Hampshire is the site of yet another insane battle over the collectivist school system, where the Bow High School “officials” called police over a small group of parents who wore fuzzy pink “XX” wristbands to protest a male playing on the opposing school’s female soccer team.

Writes The College Fix:

“The two Xs, which signify women’s chromosomes, were to protest the participation of a biological male on Bow High School rival Plymouth Regional HS’s team.

According to NH Journal, parents had asked the Bow High athletic director to do something about the situation ahead of time, but he noted his hands were tied ‘in the wake of a federal judge’s ruling that the term ‘girl’ includes males who identify as female.’”

You read that right.

First, there’s the manifestly insane idea that the government-mangled term “girl” includes males who “identify” as female - something that can be downright dangerous in things like locker rooms, bathrooms, or in athletic contests.

Second, there’s the observable problem of the federal government telling people in states what the definitions of male and female are. Enjoy searching for that in the U.S. Constitution.

The Fix continues:

“As a result, the parents engaged in a silent protest by wearing the wristbands at the game.

Upon seeing the parents’ ‘XX’ bands, however, school officials not only stopped the soccer match, they told the parents to remove the wristbands and ‘issued [a] police-enforced ‘No Trespassing order'’ against two of them.”

That’s right. The tax-sucking school called the tax-funded police to enforce a no-trespassing policy against the parents.

Those would be the tax-funded school and police force – both of which operate by trespassing on the rights of individuals to keep their own earnings. Which brings us back to that original lesson in political philosophy, and allows us to see a few more major points coming from Bow, New Hampshire.

The College Fix notes that the Bow “superintendent,” an XX named Marcy Kelley, did not approve of parents wearing the wristbands in protest of what Kelley called a “transgender female.”

“Wearing the armbands, Kelley said, ‘violate[d] school policy against ‘threatening, harassing, or intimidating…any person.’’ She added ‘no person shall ‘impede, delay, disrupt or otherwise interfere with any school activity.’’”

But that begs the question of what is a “school activity” and what one defines as “disruptive.”

If an adult taxpayer from Plymouth “identified” as a student and demanded to play on the opposing town’s team, would that be disruptive? How about if, say, two students on any team identified as “half-people” – would it be “disruptive” to allow the two students to pretend to be one student and have an extra player on the field?

How about if a student “identified” as someone who wanted to play U.S. football on the field and held the ball, running with it to the goal?

Not one of those absurd fantasies could be disallowed in a government-run system that must allow for the fantasies of a male who wants to pretend to be a female and then compete against females in sports.

The kind of fantasy is not relevant to the fact that the government facilitates that fantasy, and uses tax money to do it. If the government accepts one, it must accept all, because it is the Tragedy of the Commons, and everyone’s money is being forced into the unworkable system.

One of the parents, an XY named Brian Foote, spoke up about the school demanding that he and others shut down their silent protest.

“…Foote said there was no ‘discernible protest’ other than wearing the wristbands. He provided NH Journal with videos taken at the game which, according to the report, show ‘no disruptive actions such as shouting, chanting, marching, sign-waving, etc.’

Foote said he has ‘no issue’ with the transgender player, only that he’s concerned about incidences of ‘biological mismatch’ — where (biological) girls are forced to compete against (biological) boys.

‘I don’t care what [the player] wants to do with his life,’ Foote said. ‘What I do care about is that my daughter could be physically hurt, maybe not by [this particular player] because he’s not the biggest kid on the field. But there’s a chance that next time will be different.’”

Why is it so difficult for bureaucrats to understand this?

Perhaps it is because they get paid via the aggression called taxation, and, given that predicate, they base their decisions on politics, not an understanding of right and wrong, and of truth versus falsehood.

They don’t understand that a privately funded system would have to cater only to those who paid for it, and those people would be free to go elsewhere.

Indeed, these “education” bureaucrats don’t learn the fundamental lesson of “public education” – which is that “public” is a collectivist term that eliminates the sovereignty and value of the individual.

Even to the point where bureaucrats won’t recognize the difference between male and female individuals. That outcome often is seen as bizarre and frustrating, but the immoral foundation of the tax-fed system is the problem, and always will be.
