House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi once said the handling of sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was not a "political issue" for Democrats.
"For us, it's so much bigger than politics or elections," Pelosi said at a press conference in September of 2018. "It's about America and who we are, and it's about women coming forward."
"There are women out there, including my own daughter, who think what the president is trying to do is break the #MeToo movement- to just say, ‘we don’t care what you have to say, we don’t want to know anything further.’"
But now, in 2020, when sexual assault claims against Joe Biden are brought up, for Pelosi, the issue is “closed.”
“Joe Biden Is Joe Biden” and Pelosi’s “not going to answer those questions again.”
I guess she doesn’t “want to know anything further."
Especially when it comes to integrity - if she knows anything about it at all.
