The House of Representatives passed the “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act” on Wednesday, which would require that babies that survive abortion attempts be given the same care and attention that other babies would receive.
The legislation states that such children are "legal person(s) for all purposes under the laws of the United States,” and that any abortion clinic must transport children who survive their murderous procedures to a local hospital to care for the child -- as abortion clinics do not specialize in protecting life, but in taking it.
The vote passed 220-210, with Henry Cuellar (TX) being the only Democrat who voted in favor of the bill (Vicente Gonzalez, also from Texas, voted “present”). The split shows just how pervasive abortion support is within the Democratic party.
Progressives claimed the bill would harm more lives than benefit, and several prominent Democrats tweeted their disgust that Congress would pass a pro-life bill.
Today, instead of joining Democrats to condemn all political violence, @HouseGOP chose to push their extreme anti-choice agenda.

Democrats believe everyone deserves the freedom to access reproductive health services – without fear of violence, intimidation or harassment.
House Republicans passed an extreme bill today that will further jeopardize the right to reproductive health care in our country.

This is yet another attempt by Republican legislators to control women's bodies.
"The MAGA Republican-controlled House is putting on display their extreme views on women’s health with legislation that does not even have the support of the American people," Chuck Schumer wrote.
Liberals are insane, there just simply is no other way to put it. How could 210 of them all think that any legislation that works to ensure children are taken care of after nearly being killed is a bad thing?
