Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul’s “YUGE” endorsement announcement scheduled for Friday turned out to be an April Fools’ prank.
The former Republican presidential candidate tweeted on Thursday he had a “major endorsement announcement” planned for Friday:
Paul’s prank took some light jabs at Republican front-runner Donald Trump. Paul mocked Trump’s mannerisms, claiming the endorsement announcement would be “YUGE” and that it would be the “best announcement anyone has ever seen”:
On Friday morning, Paul revealed he was not making a real endorsement, and instead, was endorsing “entropy”:
