The president of an Arizona school board is facing massive backlash after he - or at least someone in his home - reportedly compiled a “dossier” of information, including financial records, photos and addresses, of dozens of local parents who had complained about Critical Race Theory and his district’s mask policy.
Scottsdale Unified School District President Jann-Michael Greenburg “had access to a Google Drive full of personal information, documents, and photos of about 47 people, including children,” per the AZ Free News.
That information included addresses, phone numbers, marriage and divorce records, portions of Social Security numbers, and screenshots of social media posts by parents and residents who had been vocal about the school district’s use of Critical Race Theory and mask mandates. The online drive, which was publicly accessible, also included subfolders labeled ““ANTI MASK LUNATICS,” "PRESS CONFERENCE PSYCHOS" and “SUSD WACKOS,” according to the Washington Examiner.
The pile of information also focuses heavily on a local Facebook group called “Community Advocacy Network,” a group for concerned parents and residents.
The AZ Free News reports, that after the drive was discovered by parents, the school board attempted to blame the dossier on Mark Greenburg, father of the school board president and with whom Jann-Michael Greenburg reportedly shares a computer.
Parents are now demanding Greenburg’s resignation, calling the dossier an “abuse of power” and a concerning indicator that the school board is aligned against parents who don’t agree with the system’s agenda.
“I am calling for the immediate resignation of our board president Jann-Michael Greenburg. We cannot allow anyone in a leadership position to secretly compile personal documents and information on moms and dads who have dared speak out publicly or on social media about their grievances with the district,” said mom-of-six Amy Carney.
