Liberal comedian Ricky Gervais says a lot of things that your average conservative wouldn't agree with. But when it comes to calling out the hypocrites in the Hollywood Communistic Cult, Gervais' wit transcends political ideology.

Since the 92nd Academy Awards didn't have a host this year - much like last year's edition - a Twitter user asked the 58-year-old stand-up comic what his "first best joke" would be if he were hosting.

Gervais didn't disappoint. Take a look:

Ouch! Needless to say, I don't think Gervais' mind has changed about the level of hypocrisy in Hollywood since he hosted the Golden Globes on January 5th.

Gervais' now-viral monologue was praised by people across the board, except those in entertainment media, for calling out celebrities for using award shows as a platform to spout their political opinions that no one asked for.

"So if you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to give a political speech," Gervais told the celebrity-filled audience. "You’re in no place to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg. So, if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent and your God, and f*** off.”
