I mentioned earlier that the four male bloggers on the ship thankfully were moved from the berthing area to a quasi-stateroom with more breathing room and comfort. The lone female blogger on the USS Kearsarge wasn’t so lucky. She is in the female berthing area. But she already sees the silver lining in her reality. At lunch today, our Air Force pal said that being on a mission like this to a poverty-stricken country like Nicaragua will give everyone who is part of it a greater appreciation for how much we Americans have. Boston Maggie had a great response: “I don’t even have to go that far. I appreciate the size of my bedroom and bathroom now.”
