Some things don’t need to be written with the intention of being a joke. Some things are just funny, whether they’re pre-planned or a complete coincidence. It really doesn’t matter which category this spontaneous joke fills, as reporter and podcaster Elijah Schaffer said, “You can’t make this stuff up.”

If you haven’t seen it yet, consider yourself lucky, but “non-binary” pop singer Sam Smith performed a Satanic ritual at the 2023 Grammy Awards Monday evening to a song that was being touted as the first song to win a Grammy by a non-binary (Smith) and trans person (Kim Petras), “Unholy.”

Of course that’s the name of the song.

Anywho, what happened immediately following Smith’s pudgy, Satanic performance came an announcement of the sponsor of the show — and possibly the ritual just performed.

“The 65th Grammy Awards is sponsored by Pfizer,” the announcer said before going to commercial.

Again, Schaffer put it perfectly — “You can’t make this stuff up.”

If you don’t understand why the promotion of Pfizer after a Satanic ritual is funny, I won’t spell it out for you. You’re just going to have to figure that out on your own.

As for me, I can’t stop watching the above clip. Priceless.
