President Joe Biden’s administration is thinking of completing former President Donald Trump’s wall, and Ilhan Omar is outraged.

The Minnesota House Rep tweeted a post dripping with reproach on Wednesday, asserting that “It’s shameful and unacceptable for @POTUS to continue the construction of Trump’s xenophobic and racist wall.”

Alejandro Mayorkas, Biden's Secretary of Homeland Security, has informed his department that the administration is considering filling in “gaps in the wall,” according to the Washington Examiner

“The president has communicated quite clearly his decision that the emergency that triggered the devotion of DOD funds to the construction of the border wall is ended. But that leaves room to make decisions as the administration, as part of the administration, in particular areas of the wall that need renovation, particular projects that need to be finished,” Mayorkas said.

Mayorkas had previously claimed in March that the southwest border "is secure” and “is not open.” In the same month, 171,000 illegal immigrants were caught by border agents, the highest monthly total on record since 2006.
