Ah, America in 2021, a lovely, smiling place where you can get suspended from school sports for saying there are only two genders.

As reported by The New York Post, a male student from Exeter High School in New Hampshire was suspended from playing in a high school football game last September for violating the school’s PC speech codes, and now he’s suing the school for violating his first amendment rights.

In layman’s terms, he basically told another student that there are only two genders, they had a private argument over text about it, and then he got suspended from school sports. And because that’s wildly unfair and tyrannical, the student is getting the law involved.

The Post detailed the chain of events which started with the male getting into a discussion on gender on a school bus with his friends. According to the boy’s lawsuit, he and several friends were conversing about the “perceived difficulty in using plural pronouns for an individual in Spanish,” as the language has “masculine and feminine plurals.”

The boy’s account claims that a female student overheard the conversation, and decided to interject that there “were more than two genders.” The male student shot back, “No there isn’t: There’s only two genders.”

This prompted a longer “contentious” debate on the subject over text between the two students, “which was shown to him by school administrators in printed form when he was suspended,” local paper The Portsmouth Herald wrote.

According to Exeter High School officials, the male student’s statements violated their policy that demands respecting preferred pronouns of certain LGBTQ students. The Post explained that the policy “says students have the right to be addressed by a name and pronoun of their choosing related to their gender identities and also says those who don’t recognize others’ gender identities or pronouns are violating the policy.”

The student was “hit with a one-game football suspension,” and of course that’s pathetic enough, but the student launched a lawsuit against the school district because his freedom of speech was being violated.

The student filed his lawsuit with an attorney from Christian organization Cornerstone Action earlier this November, the aim of which is to hold the school district responsible for suppressing his “Catholic-based belief that there are only male and female genders.”

Notably, the teenage student’s lawsuit doesn’t deny that he violated the school’s policy, but insists that he did deny, “and will continue to deny, that any person can belong to a gender other than that of ‘male’ or ‘female.’”

The lawsuit also asserted that the student “will never refer to any individual person using plural pronouns such as ‘they,’ using contrived pronouns such as ‘ze,’ or with any similar terminology that reflects values which (the student) does not share.”

Damn right. We hope Exeter High School – which has yet to give a statement on the lawsuit – learns the hard way about promoting the woke nonsense that is the non-binary gender craze.
