‘Talking About A Boogeyman’ Rep. Nadler Rejects Listing Antifa and BLM As Domestic Terrorists

Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) once called Antifa a “myth”, now he is calling them a “boogeyman” that exist solely in the minds of the GOP.

Those who seek to paint peaceful protests as violence simply because of the message those protesters are bringing are, quite frankly, part of the problem. “

Nadler was responding to an amendment to the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act proposed by Rep. Greg Stuebe (R-FL) that would have added BLM and Antifa to the list of organizations to be reported on by the FBI and the DOJ.

“Radicalized groups like Antifa and BLM have terrorized this country for years now,” Stuebe told House Judiciary Committee hearing.

“The summer of 2020 saw cities under siege, murders and other unspeakable acts committed by these groups.”

Democrats rejected Stuebe’s proposed amendment to the measure.
