Twitter CEO Agrawal announced on April 25th that “Twitter has a purpose and relevance that impacts the entire world. Deeply proud of our teams and inspired by the work that has never been more important.” His post quote-tweeted a statement from Twitter's Independent Board Chair Bret Taylor announcing: “The Twitter Board has reached an agreement with @ElonMusk.”

Part of what made the tweet so noteworthy was that Agrawal had not made a post via his account since April 10. Agrawal's previous tweet had declared that “Elon has decided not to join our board.”

Musk's purchase of Twitter has the same potential world changing qualities as any major political shakeup you can imagine, not just for us Americans, but across the globe, and it’s been done in the name of free speech.

It’s hard to even grasp how big the political implications are by just un-banning conservative politicians and commentators, but also getting to possibly look under the hood at how the left has used the Twitter platform’s mechanics to meddle with our elections, that could be incredible.

As commentator Eric Weinstein said, “As excited as I am for a different future, I want to know how Twitter was *previously* used behind the scenes to get us into this mess.”
