Except maybe this crowd that was tackled by police for blocking the motorcade of Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Oh yeah, and all of these people. The encouraging news is that at least the press reported this story, unlike so much other Palin-hating extremism that reporters have ignored. UPDATE: NewsBusters has more details on the Obama supporter who allegedly beat a McCain supporter with a stick. UPDATE II: A field worker for College Republicans was robbed in Pittsburgh last night. When her assailant noticed the McCain-Palin bumper sticker on her car, he carved a "B" (as in Barack) into her face. I wonder if the national media will go into a feeding frenzy over this story -- one that, unlike long-ago debunked reports of people shouting "Kill him!" at Obama rallies, actually has been confirmed by police. UPDATE III: Michelle Malkin was right to be suspicious of the story cited above; it was a hoax perpetrated by a college Republican who obviously needs mental help. I should have listened to the skeptical journalist in me, but my growing frustration with liberal media bias in coverage of the presidential campaign proved stronger. -- K. Daniel Glover
