Thousands of educators across the United States have pledged to teach what they view as “the truth”  based on identity politics, victimhood, and anti-American curricula.

Drawing from the radical socialist Howard Zinn’s book “A People’s History of the United States,” the Zinn Education Project organized the online pledge, with over 5,700 teachers nationwide having already committed to indoctrinating America’s youth.

The Zinn Education Project is a campaign to promote these progressive beliefs and provide a plethora of teaching materials that promulgate their narrative.

In explaining the “Pledge to Teach the Truth,” the group explains their impetus on the website:

From police violence, to the prison system, to the wealth gap, to maternal mortality rates, to housing, to education and beyond, the major institutions and systems of our country are deeply infected with anti-Blackness and its intersection with other forms of oppression. To not acknowledge this and help students understand the roots of U.S. racism is to deceive them — not educate them.

The pledge page also notes that many states are on the path towards outlawing such divisive curriculum, though they see it as “attempting to pass legislation that would require teachers to lie to students about the role of racism, sexism, heterosexism, and oppression throughout U.S. history.”

The teaching materials the group advocates for cover a broad range of issues, from imperialism to civil rights to sports and much more.

One suggested activity for teachers is to provide the revolutionary Black Panther Party’s 10-point plan and to “develop their own personal versions of the program,” according to the website.

Of the thousands of teachers who signed, many left messages explaining why they decided to join the campaign.

Though many in the left are now trying to walk back on Critical Race Theory (CRT) and say that is not being taught, one educator who signed admitted to teaching the radical theory.

“I teach critical race theory because without it, we have no understanding of reality and are stripped of our humanity,” signed Karissa Stotts of Minneapolis.

Though many who signed noted that they feel compelled to teach “the truth,” they are doing just the opposite — indoctrinating the next generation of Americans to hate each other and their country.
