Trevor Noah Makes Texas Salon Owner Story About Race, Only Released Because She Looks 'a Different Way'

I'm not going to go too deep into this, because "The Daily Show" host Trevor Noah isn't a particularly deep guy. We can just add him to the list of public race hustlers who make everything about race because it's easy. You don't have to have an actual substantive argument so long as you call something or someone racist.

On Monday's edition of "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah," the South African host decided to make the story of Shelley Luther - the Texas salon owner who was released from jail last week after being sentenced for opening her establishment during Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's lockdown order - all about race. Noah intimated that Luther was only released because she looks "a certain way," alluding to her being white.

"You know, it's funny how in America if you break the law and you look a certain way, well then you're a criminal," Noah said. "But if you break the law and you look a different way, well then the law needs to be changed because you're just a freedom loving American exercising your rights."

Noah took his racism against white people even in comments preceding the one above when talking about people violating stay at home orders because they wanted to have brunch.

"I've gotta say," Noah began. "Revolting against the government because of brunch has got to be one of the whitest things I have ever seen."

Now imagine if I had said, 'Being racist against white people has got to be one of the most globalist things I have ever seen.'

I would have everybody and their brother from the left-wing demanding I be publicly executed. But I don't say those things in earnest, because I'm not an ignorant opportunist who doesn't know what he's talking about.

And let's be perfectly clear - Trevor Noah appears to have no idea what he's talking about. He's seemingly been indoctrinated by Hollywood and New York TV writers to think exactly how they want him to think. I mean, Noah gets paid well to do it, but he's a puppet all the same.

It also doesn't help that Noah doesn't actually care about what used to be the American value system, since he's not from the U.S. and doesn't have a fundamental understanding of what the idea of this country means. Sure, it's helped him become a millionaire, but that doesn't matter to the current population of foreign talk show hosts - be it Noah, Samantha Bee or James Corden - who love American money but slight the country whenever they can.
